- Good to know: KLM offers direct flights from Amsterdam to Cape Town International Airport. During the ‘KLM Wereldweken’ (end of August/September and end of December/beginning of January) you will be able to book a relatively cheap return ticket (about € 700,-, prices are subject to change).
- Other options: flights to Cape Town from London (British Airways), Dubai (Emirates), Paris (Air France), Frankfurt or Munich (Lufthansa, South African Airways) or Istanbul (Turkish Airlines).

Good to know: from the V&A Waterfront you can get on the hop-on, hop-off bus, you can sail to Robben Island and in no time you’ll be on the most beautiful beaches. Green Point is a perfect base for this as well. Keep in mind that both districts are somewhat touristy.

Cape Town is the ideal winter destination for europeans: summer lasts from December to February, which means it’s pleasantly warm. In the winter months (June, July and August) the temperature is significantly lower with an occasional cold day. Usually, the temperature fluctuates around 17 degrees throughout the year.
